What we handle
Fee fixation and refund orders, recovery proceedings, and the accounts an institution must produce to defend its fee structure.
A fee order is defended on the institution's accounts: what was charged, under which head, and what it was spent on. Where those records are in order the order is usually answerable, and where they are not, no argument repairs it.
We advise on what the accounts have to show before the committee, appear in the proceedings, and challenge refund and recovery directions where they are made without hearing the institution.
If a hearing date is close, telephone rather than using the form. Nothing on this page is legal advice.
